MCForms
MCForms (Multiple Choice Forms) are how JS8Spotter is able to send solid, usable information with only a few characters. These forms are assigned a number, which is displayed in the Forms section of the program. The form numbers are a 3-digit number where the first digit indicates the category. MCForm categories are still being developed, and your input is encouraged. Please use the Comments section at the bottom of this page for your suggestions.
000 – 099 – Preliminary. Used for forms being proposed or developed. Not in general use
100 – 199 – Informational, Informal, Non-Emergency
200 – 299 – Reserved
300 – 399 – Emergency & Emergency Exercise, Situation Reports
400 – 499 – Reserved
500 – 500 – Surveys of general conditions, such as supply availability, weather, etc.
600– 699 – Reserved
700 – 799 – Group and Net forms used by specific groups, not for general use
800 – 899 – Reserved
900 – 999 – Misc. forms that do not fit into any other category
